Statement of Beliefs

1. We believe learning should be a responsibility shared by students, teachers, parents, and the community.
2. We believe students should respect themselves and others by assuming personal responsibility for their own decisions and actions.
3. We believe student achievement is enhanced by a comfortable and safe environment conducive to the learning process.
4. We believe students are unique individuals with different learning styles.

5. We believe students should be encouraged to develop socially, emotionally, academically and , physically; enabling themm to become productive citizens in society.
6. We believe each student should be involved in a well-rounded program that includes language arts, math, the arts, and sciences.
7. We believe cultural diversity increases student understanding of different peoples and cultures.
8. We believe students should develop the skills nedessary to function in an ever-changing technological society.
