The Stoner Creek Elementary School Running Club is voluntarily coached by our P.E. teacher, Ms. Melissa Bunch. She is assisted by other faculty and staff members and parents.
We run in conjunction with the kids’ YMCA Music City Marathon. The children meet every afternoon after school and run 1 mile. When the evening of the marathon arrives, the boys and girls have run 25 miles. The night of the marathon, they run their final mile along with other children across Middle Tennessee.
