Hope Scholarship "Lottery"
 
The HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship is available for students who score a minimum of 21 on the ACT or a 3.0 GPA. Up to $4000.00 per year at an eligible four year TN post-secondary institution. Up to $2000.00 per year at an eligible two year school. The FAFSA must be completed to apply for the HOPE Scholarship. Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or come by the Guidance office and get an application. If you intend to apply online, you must get a PIN number for both parent and student at www.pin.ed.gov
 
Career Survey
 
The Career Survey provides an opportunity for a student to choose an area of interest, conduct in-depth research, and demonstrate problem-solving, decision-making and independent learning skills. The Career Survey has three basic components – the paper, the product, and the presentation. The paper will be researched and written during the first nine weeks of Senior English. The last nine weeks of Senior English will focus on the product and presentation portion of the Career Survey.
